Flu Vaccinations

PROTECT YOURSELF WITH A FLU JAB

Winter is on its way, and on 1st October, the NHS launched its annual flue vaccination campaign. It’s incredibly important that everyone eligible take the time to get it as soon as possible We know winter illnesses are rearing their heads earlier than they used to, so getting your vaccination now means you’re able to protect yourself, your loved ones and your community.

To be eligible for a free vaccination, you must be 65 or over, over 18 with certain long-term conditions, a care home resident or a carer receiving carer’s allowance, immunosuppressed, or a frontline health and social care worker. If you don’t fall into any of these categories, many pharmacies provide low-cost flu vaccinations.

There are lots of supermarkets that have these facilities, meaning you can get your vaccination while doing the weekly shop. If you’d like to know more about vaccinations, such as walk-in clinics and other vaccine-related information, go to www.sneevaccine.org.uk
